Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Anindita Mitra has suspended two patwaris and two clerks whose names figure in the FIR lodged by the Vigilance Bureau in the National Highway land acquisition scam.
Those suspended are Sukhvinderjit Singh Sodhi, former registry clerk in the local tehsil office, presently working in the HRC (Head Registration Clerk) branch, Sandeep Kumar, a former clerk in the SDM’s office, now working in the CEA (Complaint Enquiry Assistant) office, and patwaris Daljit Singh and Parvinder Singh.
The order reads that Sodhi and Kumar had been absent from duty since February 10, the day the FIR was registered.
