Chandigarh: In its first Cabinet meeting on Saturday, the government had decided to uproot the VIP culture in the state and no one in the state including ministers, MLAs, and bureaucrats will put beacon lights on their vehicles except Fire brigade, ambulances and other emergency service vehicles.

In the exclusive interview by Living India News, the poster boy of the new government Finance Minister Manpreet Badal said that regarding steps on waiver of farmer debt, Badal said that the government was constituting a special commitee to look into it. On an immediate basis, he said that banks or other collateral agencies will not be allowed to auction farmer land.
The Cabinet has decided to constitute a Special Task Force to do away with the drug menace in the state within four weeks by constituting a Special Task Force headed by IPS Harpreet Sidhu.
