Hyderabad: Two Muslim women who are from Hyderabad were divorced by their husband’s through whatsapp who resides in U.S. Two women Syeda Hina Fatima and Mehreen Noor, wives to two brothers registered a police complaint against their in- laws for throwing them out of the house.
Noor said, my husband put his status as “Talaq Talaq Talaq as his whatsapp Display picture and texted him saying that everything is finished. The two women’s said that they have not received any documents so this is not valid under Islamic Law.
Fatima who was divorced six months ago in a same manner said, “I am pregnant and he gave me divorce which is not possible because one cannot give divorce to a pregnant woman,”
Fatima has already lodged a complaint after her husband sends the divorce papers from U.S 6 months ago.
