TarnTaran: Five accused along with firearms were arrested on Sunday here by Punjab Police in a case involving murder of a youth in election related violence at Palaasour village in TarnTaran on Feb. 6.
The accused had reportedly fired indiscriminately on the crowd leading to death of Surjeet Singh.His brother Jaswant Singh too was shot and is in critical condition in the civil hospital.
According to the statements of Family members, the people who fired were fifty persons in total.
SSP Harjeet Singh said that the enquiry is in process with the accused.
