Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) presented its annual budget of around Rs 1,106 crore for the year 2017-18 here on Wednesday.
With the focus on promoting education and propagating Sikh religion.
This is Rs 42 crore more than that of last year, which was Rs 1,064.14 crore.
The centre of attention in the budget will be Sikh youth.
SGPC Officials said, To channelise their energies in the right direction, special funds have been kept reserved to elevate the education standards and nurturing them for professional careers.
