New Delhi: Ravi Shastri congratulated Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for BJP’s enormous win in the UP Assembly Elections with his inevitable style and got an cheekily response from both of them yesterday.
Here is the tweet from Ravi Shastri:
Congratulations @BJP4India on the landslide win in UP. The pair of PM @narendramodi & @AmitShah went past 300-mark like a #TracerBullet

Modi’s response was in typical Shastri style.
Thank you. UP polls did not quite go down to the wire. But, at the end of the day democracy is indeed the real winner! 🙂 https://t.co/suoTqZtXit

Modi’s response saw over 3000 retweets and more than 6000 likes by late evening.
Modi’s party colleague Shah was not to be left behind and he too replied, piling on cricketing metaphors.
Thank you @RaviShastriOfc. Team BJP piled up 300+ on the back of many singles that our karyakartas and Modi government took along the way. https://t.co/MiffG9BRuB
