Ludhiana: A major fire broke out in RNG textile mills near Basti chowk in Ludhiana on Saturday afternoon.
As many as 15 fire tenders have been pressed in for service.
Earlier, over a dozen labourers were feared trapped inside the mill. However, police officials confirmed that there was no one inside as the labourers evacuated the building soon after the fire broke out.
Meanwhile, fire also started spreading to the adjoining buildings.
The fire tenders were still trying to douse the flames till the filing of this report.
