New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley filed a criminal defamation case against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders and they have to face the trial from May 20.
The finance minister had also filed a civil case against the Chief Minister and others in the party to seek Rs. 10 crore for “false, defamatory statements that harmed his reputation”.
The AAP leaders had accused Mr Jaitley of financial irregularities when he was the president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) during 2000-12.
