New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to the Election Commission of India on Tuesday asking them to not use EVM machines for upcoming Municipal Elections in Delhi.
The election to the three municipal corporations of Delhi will be held in April.

The demand from Delhi Chief Minister came after allegations of tampering were levelled by politicians following results of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Mayawati had accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of tampering with the EVMs after the experiencing a enormous defeat in U.P assembly elections.
“The results in UP and Uttarakhand are surprising and not palatable to anyone, it seems like EVMs did not accept votes polled for any party other than the BJP,” said Mayawati, after her defeat in U.P assembly Elections.
