Ambala: The Indian National Lok Dal workers, who were stopped by the Haryana police well before the Shambhu barrier, have broken through the security cordon of the police.
The INLD workers had entered into a face off with the Haryana police with both sides refusing to budge, were finally able to break through the police barricades and continue their movement towards the barrier.
The marchers had crossed the Shambhu toll plaza at the time of filing this report.
The INLD march had begun from Ambala in the morning, where the workers had vowed to take up digging of SYL canal.
Meanwhile, INLD leader Abhay Chautala has appealed to the workers to not indulge in violence.
