Chandigarh: Abhimanyu Singh, PS to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar seems to have his history all mixed up when it comes to the Indian Freedom Struggle.
In what could be termed as a bizarre twist to emphasizing the Indian link to Valentine’s Day, Singh got it all wrong with the below two posts on his page on Valentine’s Day:
Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged on 23 March, 1931. In 2016, a social media campaign that went viral had falsely linked Valentine’s Day with the Martyrdom Day of the freedom fighters.
Perhaps Abhimanyu Singh realized his mistake and removed the two posts from his page later in the day.
