Chandigarh: A video sting showing Aam Aadmi Party’s Hoshiarpur observer and Delhi state SC wing President Ashok Nanglia deciding party tickets over drinks in a Hoshiarpur hotel has been issued by suspended party leader Virendra Parihar.
The video sting is stated to be done in August 2015.
The video shows a visibly intoxicated Nanglia saying, “Aap ki, Jaagi ki, Raja ki, Ticket final, sab ho gaya, baat khatam.” Nanglia further says, “Bhai naun seat hai, aik ghantey mein……………zaroori hai. Aik ghantey mein khatam kar doonga (some words are incomprehensible).
Interestingly, another person sitting in the room is heard replying to Nanglia as, “Rest is up to the (sic) God.”
In the video, a drunk Nanglia announces names of three candidates (Ravjot, Jaggi, and Raja) whose tickets had been finalized. The three names pertain to candidates Dr Ravjot Singh from Sham Chaurasi, Sulakshan Singh Jaggi from Mukerian, and Jasbir Singh Raja from Tanda.
Virendra Parihar, who was earlier the co-ordinator of NRI wing and in-charge of fund raising for Hoshiarpur has alleged that Nanglia had finalized all nine tickets for Hoshiarpur in an intoxicated state.
