Captain Amarinder immerses ashes of mother at Kiratpur

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh immersed the ashes of his mother Rajmata Mohinder Kaur at Kiratpur Sahib on Thursday.
The Punjab CM was accompanied by close family members including his brother Malwinder Singh, son Raninder Singh and his grandsons Nirvan, Angad and Yadhuvinder Singh along with other relatives.
After saying a final farewell to the departed soul, the Chief Minister partook the langar at the Gurudwara before leaving for Patiala in the pre-noon hours.
The CM and family had earlier collected the ashes from Shahi Samadhan, the final resting place of Patiala Royals.
