New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday turned down Punjab government request to defer the filing of its reply in SYL case till March 11. The Punjab Government had made the request keeping in view of the pending results of the Punjab elections.
After the SC decision, the government lawyer requested for more time to file the reply.
Subsequently, the Supreme Court has now asked the government to file its reply till February 20.
The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for February 22.
