Chandigarh: Jagtar Singh Hawara was acquitted of all charges in the 1992 Chamkaur Sahib double murder case here at the High court on Tuesday.
Jagtar Singh Hawara was imprisoned in Tihar Jail.
Chandigarh High court cleared him of all charges because of the lack of witness and proofs.
While talking to Living India News, Sarbjeet Singh who is an advocate said that witnesses had given their statements on the name of Jagtar Singh Hawara, but court did not considered them as satisfying proofs. So, High Court had cleared Hawara from all the charges of 302 under the section of IPC.
