Chandigarh: After releasing the CCTV footage of suspects allegedly involved in Maur Mandi blast, the Punjab police has retracted the same saying that the two individuals shown in the video were not the suspects in the case.
The police issued the statement after the two individuals accosted the police officers with their antecedents. Bathinda police officials subsequently called up to withdraw the video saying the two individuals shown as suspects in the same were already present in the rally and were not the persons they were looking out for.
No specific reasons were given for the mistake committed by the police.
