Chandigarh: Jawahar Yadav, the political advisor to Haryana CM has alleged that the Indian National Lok Dal leader
Rampal Majra had openly campaigned for Shiromani Akali Dal in the Punjab elections.
This, he said, happened despite Abhay Chautala’s declaration to boycott SAD owing to the latter’s strong stand on SYL canal.
He said that Chautala was out misleading the general public in Haryana on the SYL issue. Whereas he had criticized the Punjab government in public on SYL, in private he had sent Majra to campaign for them.
Majra had campaigned for Akali candidate Parminder Dhindsa in the elections.
