Today is the last day to deposit your old currency with the banks.To stop corruption and flow of black money the Prime Minister of India announced on 8th November that they have decided to ban the flow of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes in the Indian economy. The government also stated that people can deposit their old currency till 31st December, 2016.
Whereas, according to the officials around 90 percent of the old currency is deposited with the banks.
